Adem Merter Birson has been an active and dedicated member of the Turkish community in New York. As a co-founder of Arkadaş: Turkish Community Organization, he has worked tirelessly to help integrate Turkish immigrants into the New York area while fostering cultural activities that promote and celebrate Turkish heritage within the broader community.
In addition to his efforts with Arkadaş, Adem serves as the vice president of Trabzonspor USA, where he represents the iconic Turkish football team. His leadership has been instrumental in organizing key cultural events, including the Trabzonspor USA float at the annual NYC Turkish Day Parade and the Nassau County Turkish American Night at Eisenhower Park.
